At this very moment, there is an unprecedented opportunity to wake up our hearts. To allow this moment to manifest as a sacred pause for humanity where we turn to our deepest resources, our wisdom and our love.

Beloved Mysore Yoga Paris Sangha (cliquez ici pour la version française),

Our physical Shala has now been closed for over a week, yet I find myself deeply connected to you all in a new, subtle way.

As I continue to chant the Opening Mantra each morning at 8am together with my family, like I have been doing with you for all these years - I realise with gratitude and wonder: what a super-power it is to have cultivated a a self-practice and a sangha, a community.

Regardless of how challenging the situation is, we can draw from these vast resources within ourselves and between us, to create an inner refuge. It is so important to remember our togetherness. That we truly are in this together…  We are all scared and worried, facing our vulnerabilities and uncertainties. But it is the most unprotected in our society who are likely to suffer the most.  There has never been a more pertinent time - for us to move together as a larger community, to practice true Sangha, to open our hearts - than right now.

This comes with great personal responsibility but also with possibility. The possibility to allow these very circumstances to be the grounds for love, compassion and growth. To tap into the energy of everyone else on this path, wanting to move through aligned with heart.

This reminds of the aspiration of the Bodhisattva: May whatever arises, serve the awakening of wisdom and compassion.

At this very moment, there is an unprecedented opportunity to wake up our hearts. To allow this moment to manifest as a sacred pause for humanity where we turn to our deepest resources, our wisdom and our love.

Do keep in touch, I´d really love to hear from you.

With Love, Blessings and Gratitude x kia, Paris 26/3 2020

This video was created and sent to me last week as an offering to the community from Sandra - my dear apprentice, friend and creative soulmate. My eyes teared up as I watched the movements of Sandra´s sensitive, sublime footage of my beloved students, gently held by Yotam´s Soundscapes. How I miss you all! The talk recorded at Rosina Bonsu´s remembrance in Glasgow 15/2 2020. Sounds Scapes by Yotam Agam. Watch, love and spread…

I’m dedicated to continue to support your practice through this delicate time, creating an inner Shala where we can always meet. I will personally post resources, talks, meditations, practice soundscapes and inspiration as well as any updates on the situation in our Newsletter, in Mysore Yoga Journal, through our website, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. We are working this out as we go along, but hoping to have a podcast channel available for you soon... This will be my gift to you. We remain closer together.
